In conjuntion with Intel volunteers and Team Will, Julie Ryan's 5th grade students and other Lakeview students have created Valentine's Day cards that will be delivered to pediatric cancer patients at UC Davis Medical Center.
On Monday, February 13, the Team Will community of cyclists (www.team-will.org) will ride to the Capitol’s West Steps to receive a Senate Resolution from Senate President pro Tempore Darrell Steinberg. Afterwards, the cyclists begin their group ride to nearby UC Davis Children’s Hospital. At the hospital, cyclists will deliver handmade Valentines from local school kids, including Lakeview, bringing love and support to the courageous children and families there affected by cancer this Valentine’s Day.
Parents and students are welcome to come out and support the cause. The event will be held February 13th at 12:45 p.m. at the West Steps of the State Capitol. |

Father/Daughter Dance - Fri. Feb 24 - 7-9pm. Forms were sent home in Friday folders and are available in the office and online. RSVP's are due by Feb 17th and can be turned into your daughter's class or the office. $15 per girl and her "date" (dad, grandparent, stepdad, uncle) includes corsage, music, dancing, and dessert. |

Our after school enrichment program registration is now open. Forms came home in Friday folders and are available in the office or online(see below). Regitration ends Fri., Jan 6. Classes are filled on a first come, first served priority basis. Classes begin Tues, Jan 17 and end Fri Feb 24.
