Elections will be held on April 7, 2010 at the General Meeting for the following positions:

1. President
2. Vice President
3. Secretary/Parliamentarian
4. Financial Secretary
5. Treasurer
6. Fund raising
7. School Spirit
8. Publicity/Communications

If you are interested in serving any of the positions, please send this form back to your child's teacher or send email to: pto@lakevieweagles.org by March 19, 2010. We are also looking to fill several committee chair positions. If you would like to chair a committee – please send us your interest. The list of committees can be found in the sidebar.

The Lakeview Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is an organization which

• promotes the welfare of our children in the home, school, and community
• promotes a positive working relationship between parents, teachers, and other staff members and seeks to strengthen these relationships
• raises funds to support educational enrichment programs, school activities and assemblies, teacher supplies and equipment, and other items the school district may not be able to provide otherwise
• organizes social events for our children, parents, and staff to enjoy which promotes a positive community spirit

How the PTO Funds will be used ?

By joining the Booster Club you automatically become a PTO member and will have a vote in how the PTO funds will be used. You can also choose to join the PTO without becoming a Booster and also have voting rights. As stated above, we hope to help support and provide enrichment programs that would otherwise not be offered to our children, as well as bring in unique assemblies, school activities, supplies, and assisting with whatever the staff and parent membership feels is most important to promote the best possible educational environment for our children. Join the PTO to make your vote count!
